The ma-plainte.ch platform

No travel to a police station
No account no password needed

The service

Created in 2025, ma-plainte.ch offers a guided form to describe the facts and produce a document to sign. No account is required. Postal sending remains necessary, because a handwritten signature is required.

ma-plainte.ch is not a police or judicial authority. Once the letter has been sent, processing the complaint is a matter exclusively for the cantonal authorities.

Prepare a complaint online

Where the platform comes from

For the people concerned

Going to the station can mean taking a day off, gathering documents and recounting the facts in person. The form lets you prepare the statement at your own pace, from home.

For police services

Incomplete or poorly structured accounts lengthen administrative work. A guided form aims to deliver a more readable document, without replacing the investigation.

The aim is to make preparing a complaint easier, without emptying it of meaning: each statement can help start proceedings, inform the authorities or, where relevant, trigger insurance cover.

How does it work?

1

Complete

I complete my complaint form online, calmly, at my own pace. I describe what happened and add the relevant information.

2

Print

Once finished, I receive the form by e-mail. I download it and print it so that I can sign it.

3

Send

I sign the document and send it by post to the competent authority, whose address appears on the form.

Which facts

The service is for people facing simple theft, bicycle theft, motor-vehicle theft or property damage : including where the facts occurred without violence or a break-in.

Reporting a theft or damage can in particular help to:

  • protect your rights,
  • have the facts recognised,
  • contribute to identifying repeated behaviour.

Data and signature

Data are handled confidentially, in accordance with Swiss law.

The platform does not keep your personal information in its databases; no complaint is forwarded to the authorities without your signature.

Once sent, your statement follows the official procedures of your canton.

Our role, plainly

We guide you through a structured form. We do not replace the police: you print, sign and send the document to the authority indicated.

Processing the complaint remains the exclusive responsibility of the cantonal authorities.
